TEACH-INS
Teach-Ins are FREE to Members only
Farnham Angling Society’s (FAS) free Junior and Intermediate teach-ins are organised to help develop youngsters angling skills and abilities.
FAS will supply all the bait and terminal tackle that you will need for the sessions.
When attending any of these you must bring the following: FAS Handbook, Rod, Reel loaded with 12lb line (Carp) or 6lb line (General), Suitable landing net and Unhooking mat.
Please book ASAP.
JUNIOR & SENIOR TEACH-INS
If you book in for an event, but then cancel and give less than 14-days notice, you will be blacklisted for all future FAS teach-ins: subject to the Executive Committee’s consideration of the reasons given.
Pike 'Teach-In' Dates & Information
THESE MUST BE ATTENDED IF YOU WISH TO FISH FOR PIKE ON ALL FAS WATERS – INCLUDING GUEST MEMBERS
Please remember that to qualify for a ‘Pike Fishing permit stamp’ in your Handbook, you must arrive before the stated time of the teach-in session (times indicated below);
ATTENDANTS MUST PRODUCE AT THE TEACH-IN THE REQUIRED EQUIPMENT AS PER BYE-LAW 4.q ii a-h; OTHERWISE YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COMPLETE THE TEACH-IN.
THE REQUIRED LIST & INFORMATION CAN BE FOUND ON THE FAS WEBSITE.
ALL REQUIRED TACKLE CAN BE PURCHASED AT DISCOUNTED PRICES AT THE PIKE TEACH-INS
PLEASE BRING PROOF OF YOUR CURRENT 2025/26 MEMBERSHIP
NON-MEMBERS ARE WELCOME, ALL WE ASK IS THAT YOU SUPPLY 2 RECENT PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPHS OF YOURSELF AND BRING TACKLE AS STATED ABOVE.
A PERMANENT PIKE TEACH-IN CARD WILL THEN BE PROVIDED PROVING YOUR ATTENDANCE
THESE TEACH-INS ARE OPEN TO ALL, EVEN IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY ATTENDED A TEACH-IN BEFORE
YOU DO NOT NEED TO BOOK TO ATTEND A TEACH-IN, JUST COME TO ONE OF THE SESSIONS AS SCHEDULED BELOW
